You can make a snow cone in literally 1 minute. You just plug it in, pop in some ice from your freezer and push down. I was very surprised at how quickly the paper cone fills up. My one complaint is that the knob that adjusts the ice thickness is a little flimsy and it's difficult to tell which setting it's on, but I don't really care. In comparison to the Snoopy Snow Cone machine that I had when I was a kid, it's a dream. Kids today are lucky!!!
We've tried the blue raspberry, and tangerine syrups and they're really good. But, the sugar-free syrups taste like cough syrup - YUCK! I just use less of the regular syrup if I want low calorie.
