I bought the Red Sunbeam ice shaver last summer and it has been used EVERY single day at least six or seven times per day and I have not had one single problem with it. I have noticed that the blade is starting to seem a little dull (I didn't know you could buy replacement blades). If you are considering buying this product I would highly recommend it. It makes perfectly shaved ice every time I use it - no chunks get through. I am buying a second one to keep on hand for when this one does finally give out. It will be a sad day for me around here :) Considering the cost is only $25, I would say this is a steal!
